It is vaguely political, caffiend, but given that's she's never held elective office, has a snowflake's chance in hell of getting the nomination, and is a complete loon, I'll give you this one. CZ (benevolent admin)

Thanks for pointing this out, azsteve. Regardless of the topic, no one is allowed to advertise or solicit funds on the board without admin approval. The poster "letsbreal" did not obtain such approval, so I've pulled their posts. I don't know what is going on with the Gaddy suit, but this site has no connection with it. I have no firsthand knowledge of what either the Exmormon Fou

I grant that discussion of higher than average IQ among Ashkenazi Jews is interesting. However, use of the term "animal husbandry" seems inflammatory in this context. Couldn't you have gone with something more neutral like "artificial selection" or even "selective breeding"? And your claim that "smart guys don’t naturally reproduce without some kind of coer

Amyjo, I don't believe that you're being attacked here, but we certainly don't want you feeling that way. This is a place designed for healing, not for increased anxiety. Why don't you take a sabbatical from the site for a while to give your feelings a chance to settle. No matter what is happening here, it can't hurt you if you don't post or read it. Please send me e-mail in a few weeks

Greetings fellow exmos! Although we hate to ask for money, the cost realities of hosting, bandwidth, etc. require us to have the occasional fundraiser. Our last one was in April of 2018, and it's time to do it again. Please use the Paypal donation button you can see by scrolling to the bottom of the home page: https://www.exmormon.org You can use a credit card or your Paypal account (if yo

Everybody, Cheryl is a pretty nice person. I've met her and I know. Although I've never met Lot's Wife, I enjoy the thoughtfulness of her posts. I hate to see this site bogged down in the partisan bickering and polarization that has infected the U.S. and much of the rest of the world. We're all human beings and we all have different opinions. Please treat each other with the kindness tha

Everybody, If you see a political post, please report it rather than responding. Responding just makes it worse. And give us some time to work our magic. We're all volunteers and have other things that we need to do; we can't respond instantly. If we have to hide political posts, that often requires us to lop off perfectly good stuff that is around it. Your best bet is to avoid politics in

Hi lisadee, You haven't really done anything wrong, but you have bumped up against a couple of the site's quirks. I don't know why your one post got rejected as spam, but we do have various filters in place to keep the worst offenders out. You may have used a term that we currently filter for. The filter list is larger than it needs to be, and I'm in the process of cleaning up the cruft tha

Be nice, Dave. Would you prefer a different euphemism? Bumping uglies? Laying pipe? Making the beast with two backs? Boinking? The old in-out? Gland to gland combat? Playing hide the salami? Jumping his/her bones? Stuffin' the muffin? Adults joke about sex all the time and there are more euphemisms for it than computer geeks have words for "broken". In my opinion, truly

Hey LW, Please do use the report feature to let us know about your suspicions. We appreciate such tips, even though we may not be able to act on them right away. Sometimes an investigation to verify suspicions takes a while to perform. We can remove obviously trollish posts, but don't want to completely ban a poster unless we're pretty sure about who they are and what they're doing. We do t

Hi Elyse, Is the post to which you are referring the one that started like this: "Americans who do not love America need to reside in a few other countries for a while."? If so, it wasn't removed directly but got caught up in the removal of the parent. That was another off-topic post by an author who seems to treat the board like their personal Facebo

Unfortunately, the poster going by "Bruce R. McDonkie" is a long-time troll who appears here from time to time in various guises. I've blocked that name and removed his posts, but he will probably try again. Please use the report feature to alert the admins to any posts you find suspicious. Do not point them out on the board, just let us take care of things: we see more than you do,

It would also be *very* easy to do for real, once you’ve got the mechanical part working. The software to solve the cube is fast and readily available. The state of a random cube could be entered by hand, or (more likely) could be measured with cameras using common off the shelf machine vision software. The hard part is mechanically rotating the faces of the cube at such speed. If you can

The time required to compute the solution is negligible compared to the time needed for the mechanical movement of the cube faces. If a human being can find the solution in a few minutes, a modern computer can do it in milliseconds. A web search will pull up repositories of open source software for solving Rubick’s Cube along with benchmarks showing the time required for the computation.

The posts that get pulled are almost always political, personal attacks or deliberately offensive. Be nice and stay away from politics and your posts will normally be fine. No need to invoke conspiracies. CZ (admin)
