Most also enjoy throwing out ideas and getting enthusiastic responses. I'd suggest we wait before stating conclusions. This threat is new in our country and no one knows yet how it will develop. Let's try to relax, take precautions, but not panic, not listen to gossip, or assume the worst. Let's let the facts unfold and realities become clear before we assume conclusions which may or may not play

Anyone returning from or going on a cruise from the area must travel to another port, usually LA or Seattle. Apparently, San Francisco temporarily opened the port at this time specially in an effort to cooperate with health officials during this crisis.

He said the paper products row had tall extra carts of TP along the length of it. I guess they want to reassure customers that there is plenty of it available in this area.

Sorry for the harm others are suffering. Excessive rain and seeing damage to others still isn't easy. Good luck and good thoughts to you and everyone in your state.

The virus is like a slight to very bad cold for most who contract it. Sounds miserable but then the suffer recovers as good as new. Old people or those with serious health conditions can have serious or even fatal complication. Hopefully, we can get through this scare without falling apart emotionally because there's no need for that. We've all lived through worse. I recall many crisis situ

We don't forget brain surgeries or mormon abuses. Why? Because they continue to have an impact on us and others.

Law enforcement has a right to "release" a person from custody. Members of churches are not prisoners. They have a right to say when they're done.

You're no longer a member if you no longer associate with the organization. Mormons are mistaken in thinking they get to choose your membership after you no longer attend or pay tithes.

They took away lady's handbags and made everyone sit and have deacons put paper booties on their feet before going on the tour of the Sacramento temple. One lady in my group said she needed her container of tampons and a kleenex for her nose. They let her have them and said to put them in a pocket. Someone had rummaged through my bag. When I got it back, everything seemed upended and in a m

Going to church supports church more than it supports a spouse who happens to attend. Ask her to tell you some other ways she feels supported? Do you pump her gas? Do you drive her to medical appointments? Do you stick up for her if she's slighted socially? Do you sometimes cover for her in emergencies? Do you bring her flowers? Do you take her out for date nights? Do you give her turns to wat

I hated that many gave unwanted advice about what I had to wear for my BC surgery and radiation treatments. I was not comfortable going bra-less and got tired of being told I had to wear only an undershirt or whatever. I also didn't like others assuming I needed repeated advice about soaps and such. I know about mild soaps and didn't need to hear the brands listed again and again every week of ra

It's a new story today. Her step kids walked in on her and now she's being told she'll likely have to register as a child molester. I'm glad I'm out of Utah for good. Hope I never have to go there again.

Sometimes the men force them to work and the husband often takes the money. I know that the women have managed motels. They make the kids help clean, make up the beds, and do ground keeper duties. I also know of plyg women who do crafts and sell their work at fairs and to boutiques. The men usually can't earn enough to pay for multiple wives and fifty or sixty children. They expect ever

The Le Barons have always embraced the most extreme and violent tenants of mormonism. The Big Love TV series copied that group to point out how mean and evil a splinter group could be.

I think everyone with a heart is stunned by the tragedy of cartels murdering innocent babies and children. One side issue I've noticed about this and other news about mormon splinter groups is that it spurs public interest which leads to searches for books on these topics. Sales for my book, "Plural Bride to Be" rise whenever there are splinter group news stories or TV programs.

Their ancestors moved to Mexico when Utah was seeking statehood and US polygamists were sometimes being jailed. In more recent years many Le Barons have moved back across the boarder and have duel citizenship. The men travel back and forth to visit wives and children. The women travel with their children to Mexico for special events. One of the fathers picked up his baby daughter at the kill s

First one: My sister-in-law was daughter to the head of the Allred polygamy group. Her uncle was a homeopathic doctor with a large thriving practice. Many years ago the head of the Le Barons let them know that all of the Allred group must send tithes to the Le Barons. They refused which infuriated the Le Baron leader. He gave guns to two of his followers and sent them to Utah where they stormed t

I have to pay almost $700. for new gasses and frames because of my complicated prescription. I do have insurance which pays about $150 and sometimes I can also use my husband's insurance when he doesn't need new glasses during the year. I appreciate respectful service and getting a worker willing to see that I receive my full benefits. We worked long and hard for our vision care benefits and
