All I'm saying is that medical personnel who have been actively treating covid patients for over a year may have some insight into the disease and treatment that I don't have. And that it might be worth listening to those people.

"I wouldn't say that a nurse wouldn't "know something that we don't" as I think of Florence Nightingale who knew more about sanitation than the physicians of her day by which she saved many lives during the Crimean War." I think I said that practicing nurses "would" know something we don't. Thanks for you perspective.

So there is no possibility that a nurse, trained in hard science, human physiology and medicine might know something that we don't? Just askin'

I'm surfacing momentarily to offer this oldy-goldy from 100Proof -- For Young Women Only -- Your Body, Your Garage by 100Proof A speech given by Apostate Hunerd Proof at the RfM Young Womens Conference on February 3, 1999 My dear special sweet young spirits, I wish to address a topic that is very sacred and dear to the Lord. SusieQ#1 died January 20, 2019. Funeral arrangements unknown at this time. Susie and I knew each other back in the day when we were both TBM. She was the first out, then years later helped me in my journey out. For that I will be forever grateful. She had a great life and I will miss her.

Santa Barbara has always enjoyed the perverted pride of being "one of the smallest stakes in the church". SB stake has 3 wards and 2 branches in the SB metro area and 3 wards in Lompoc and Solvang in north SB county. The stake numbers are so low that one that one of the possibilities was to have the north county wards drive 50 miles to meet at the stake center. Consolidating all u

After years of declining attendance, Mesa Vista Ward in the Santa Barbara CA Stake was dissolved yesterday September 23, 2018. Formed 18 years ago in a bubble of babies and move-ins, no one yesterday seemed particularly sorry to see it go. In fact, most were giddy to at last be rejoining friends in the adjacent wards. When announced last Sunday a flurry of texts went around the world as the

Hi Koriwhore. Please help me understand something You spend your lunch hour hurling loaded, combative questions at some poor kids; sorry, I mean “grown ass adults” staffing a scripted call center. Then complain that these people don’t depart from their script to honestly answer your loaded, combative questions. You loudly accuse them of lying and coverup. You bemoan the fact that

It is big. YM will be baptizing and witnessing in the font. YW will be handing out towels. Confirmations will still be handled by the Melchezidek PH. The big news is that 11 year old Primary will be an introductory temple prep class! A 1st Pres letter was read today confirming all of this.

I found RfM by accident in 2008. Since then this board and all of you have been a large part of my exit from mormonism. Thank you Eric K for making this available to us. I'm playing the long game, still go to sacrament meeting with DW. I follow that up with a pleasant two hours at the Church of Home Depot while waiting for her. I recently hit a big number birthday. I have fewer days ahea

Because of an imbalance in the PH "Force", two wards realigned boundaries. The evening before the realignment a joint PH meeting of the two wards was held along with an explanation of why it was taking place. At the ice cream and cookies mixer after I looked around and it looked like a job fair. All the guys were jockeying for position in their respective new ward regimes. I m

I went to the temple for endowments in 1979. No prep class. Stake pres was pissed because I hadn't read up on the New and Everlasting Covenant. Got a recommend anyway because I was getting married in three days. EQ pres was pissed when he drove me down because I hadn't arranged to take a set of garmies for the endowment. Temple guy was pissed because I never heard of Section 80whatever o
