I was pretty serious. I think my path to leaving began when my relationship with God grew stronger than my relationship with the religion.

Back story... I'm a grown woman, married with kids. We were all born and raised in tscc. Some of our family shut us out when they discovered we left tscc. My Dad was one of the last to know. Upon hearing of our departure, he lashed out at us by sending ugly letters and church material to persuade us back. I received wise advise and support from this board (y'all) to ignore his fit by n

Who remembers hearing the stories told that if Satan knows you are going to the temple he will try to stop you. Satan will cause you to get in a fight or cause you to get in accident etc.to keep you from the temple. I believed this so much. The night before my Fiancé' and I were being sealed in the temple, Satan would try and stop us, cuz he knew we were doing a righteous thing. I had to

I thought back in the day the church had counseled against referring to themselves as "Mormons" and instead should use the phrase "latter day saint" Shouldn't it say "I'm a latter day saint" Not that I care, I really don;t want to see either.

Same here, plus all the conference quotes from mormon Facebook posters. It was really annoying. I tried to avoid fb yesterday because of it. It would be really funny to have the same post as I'm a Mormon only change it to I'm A Moron! I think they would notice the mockery.

That's weird! I get the opposite response. They are usually the ones that spot me and say hello. I don't even notice them until they say Hi.

I left tscc Jan 2014. I still have nightmares related to that cult. Just for fun, I'll share. In my dream, my Dad came to visit me and begged me to renew my Church membership. He lectured me about how I'm doing my children wrong by depriving them of tscc and so on and so on. After I refused his pleas, he went to my bishop and somehow renewed my children's membership. I was filled with

I wasn't attracted to "spiritual" men. "Bad boyz" appealed to me. I married a man who thought he was a "spiritual" man, (because that's what I was supposed to do). Thankfully he was a "bad boy" at heart and I got who I really wanted!! I was always too sexy to be Mormon, anyway!

I don't think I woulda been born into tscc had he lived. I wish he had lived. Had he lived, Mormonism would've died in my opinion. But it's not the case. I think JS would've run it into the ground. His crimes and cons were catching up to him and people wouldn't have been as easily fooled. My kids are so hurt by seeing their family/cousins disown us because we left tscc. It's a shame. They ha

We own guns and have children. But we have always taught them gun safety. It seems to be that when parents with guns don't teach their kids gun safety, they become curious and mess around with it causing deadly tragedies.

I donated all of my church books to the Mormon library. I wanted that crap out of my house for good, and yes it feels gr8 to have it gone.

I've posted CES to other family members heckling us but seems like they always have a response. They haven't challenged it but they defer from it in their response, grasping onto some other point that is useless. They just don't seem to want to accept even the possibility of truth in that evidence or they defend it still beyond all reasonable doubt. :(

We made the mistake of telling family we had our names removed. I recently posted about my Dad hearing word that we left tscc. He had written me a long letter about how wrong and delusional we are to leave, and he hopes it's not true. (Your'e going to Hell, you'll have a miserable life, blah blah blah!) I am holding strong and not responding. He lives in a different state, putting distance bet

I am so tired of repeating this cycle every time a family member discover's we resigned form tscc. 1. They respond in writing or calling to let us know how disappointed they are with us. How wrong we are. How we are destroying our lives and our kids. And that we are going to Hell. etc. etc. 2. We defend our selves and the reasons why we left. 3. They respond with all the bom scriptures t

Tell your sister to wear some sexy shit and maybe her husband will have naughty thoughts about her. Or tell her that you can give her husband 2 black eyes and that ought to keep him from looking at your wife.

I love wearing thongs now that I don't have to wear Gs. But, my 9 yr old son walked in on me noticing my thong and he said, "mom, your underwear doesn't work, your booty is too big." I couldn't help but laugh.

Drinking question. I am Female,34 and 110 lbs. I say this incase it plays a role as to why my body reacts sleepy or dizzy to drinking alcohol. That's why drinking isn't fun for me. I never experience the "fun" effects. It doesn't matter if I drink a lot or a little. I'd rather skip the alcohol and just have sonic drinks. What's my deal?

I just posted CES letter to my fb. Under love it or hate it, there's no denying the facts. I have so many Mo friends/family that are constantly posting Mormon crap, so I thought "why not"! My fb, my post....love it or hate it, there's no denying the facts. I'm an apostate and proud of it!!
