I was raised in a small Mormon town in Idaho. I went along to get along. The last few years before graduation, attended very little. Never did buy into much of the Mormon teachings. After I beat the shit out of the bishops son and put him in the hospital,,( I went to jail) was invited not to return unless I apologized. Never returned. After I graduated high school, moved to Salt Lake, Sent in res

I feel they are always looking to get rich without working for it. Let the people under them do the work, then gain from them. Never seen one work yet. When I lived in Utah, a neighbor came over and told me about how great some program he was invested in. said I should borrow on my house value (my house was paid for)so I could get rich. About 6 months later, lost his house, his life was a mess.

I done business in the town of Lovell during the time this was taking place. Of course I knew nothing about what was going on. I did know some of the people in the book. Lot of hard feelings and questions about it. Have read several books and accounts of it. I understand Dr.Story is out and not sure where he is now. Good reading.

I lived in Utah for over 20 years as a no-mo. It was not easy at times. However I did enjoy the outdoors and fishing, hunting. Spent a lot of time in very remote areas and had good friends, Mormon and non Mormon. However I decided to leave and relocate for my retirement. I am glad I did. I didn't realize the difference and social structure of Utah. Still go back once in a while and visit. Enjoy w

Couldn't have had better parents. Dad was a strong but fair man. Mom was a hard worker and totally devoted to our family. Miss them both.

An older man had lost his long time wife. Next week he stood up and announced that god had told him not to get rid of her clothes, because he would re-marry soon and his new wife could wear her clothes.

After the divorce, loosing every thing, starting over. I vowed never to marry again, I haven't. Been 35 years. Have had great relationships with wonderful women. Traveled, went camping, repaired their cars, went dancing, many good times. However always enjoyed my privacy. I guess part of it is I don't trust people. My true friends I could count on one hand.

About 30 years ago I moved into a TBM area. Right after moving in and getting settled I got a call from the Mormon offices. They wanted to know my birthday and various things about me. I had been out of the Mormons for 20 years at that time. I didn't tell them anything and told them not to call back. That was the last time anyone called or I had any contact with them.

Mt wife divorced me because I would not re-join the Mormons and take her through the temple. It was that or divorce. We divorced. I chose not to marry again. That was over 30 years ago. Tell you a lot of funny stories about those years. I am now fully retired and living in a small mountain town. Not a Mormon in sight. Life is good,,
