Wasn't there a movie about that? Minority Report?

If you don't have kids, I'd get out of the LDS church now and let your wife choose what she wants to do. You are in for a lot of bullshit if you stick around and play the part of a good LDS man.

I was a Christian before I briefly converted to the LDS Church and I am a Christian now. I don't often attend church, but when I do I go to Calvary Chapel in Salt Lake. The pastor is an awesome, down-to-earth guy. He rides a Harley and has tattoos. The worship music is really good, too. I'm a big, big fan of contemporary Christian music. I love groups / artists like Skillet, Newsboys,

That seems a bit drastic and unfair to your kid. I have an eight-year old daughter and I would never use her in that way.

Yep, a good reason to dramatically limit information that is posted on FB. I'm always stunned at what people put on there. It's all user-generated info, too. Crazy!

My ex-husband and I finalized our divorce while our daughter was seven years old. Although I had briefly converted to the LDS Church during our marriage, I officially resigned while we were separated. As I expected, the topic of our daughter getting baptized when she turned eight years old came up during the legal process. Although my ex was rarely "worthy" to hold the priesthood (

Response: I'm worshipping according to the dictates of my own conscience, as the 11th Article of Faith states. You go ahead and worship according to the dictates of YOUR conscience.

My mom is a non-denominational Christian and she was devastated when I told her that I had been baptized into the LDS Church. I had seen her earlier that morning and said that I would not do it. And then I was pressured by my now ex-husband and the bishop. She's glad that I'm out now. The LDS Church is such a load of BS.

Maybe women should hold the priesthood then. And not the men. Wouldn't women get better results when they bless someone if they are more spiritual and faithful than men?

You must be one of those people who insists on "happy holidays" rather than "Merry Christmas."

None of my family members saw me get married. My fiance and I went to Hawaii and were married on a beach -- just the two of us, a pastor, and the pastor's wife (who played an instrument). There was also a photographer. It was a wonderful experience! I just wasn't into tons of people watching me as I took my vows. I didn't miss having people fawn over me. I'm more of a private person.

I am a Christian and I teach my 8-year old daughter about God and Jesus. We attend a non-denominational church once in awhile and pray every night before bed.

Thanks, everyone. It's true that I'm not the best at romantic relationships and I messed up big time by dating a coworker. Lesson learned. But I love my job and want to keep it.

About a year ago I ended a nine-month-or-so relationship with a guy that I met at work (I know, I know. Bad idea to date someone from work!). Although he and I work for the same company, we are rarely at the same location. Occasionally we have to interact due to the nature of our jobs. The breakup was very, very difficult for him. Although he was 31 years old at the time we started dating,

Since he did not disclose that he is gay to you directly, I don't think it is right for you to butt in and tell his fiance. If anyone needs to do that, it's his brother. It's really too bad that the LDS Church creates this type of situation. It's not fair to anyone involved and I hope she realizes the truth before she marries him.

I think it would be great if Anonymous hacked into the LDS Church's financial system and shared the information with the world. Just how much do those "non-paid" clergy (apostles) make, anyway? How much money does this "not-for-profit" entity use for political purposes?

I do my best to raise my eight-year-old daughter while struggling to deal with my ex-husband, a bi-polar alcoholic jerk. Good times. I work full-time in the IT industry, which is a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to the TobyMac concert in two weeks. I also like live music at Red Butte Garden in the summer. The weather is starting to warm up and that cheers me up a bit.

I think it's great that exMos are giving it one star ratings! Their little plan to give it positive reviews backfired. Hehehe!

I used to read the pamphlets that they left at my door. Generally I agreed with a few things but some seemed way off base. When I spoke with them, the only thing they seemed to be saying was that God's name was Jehovah. That was their only point.

The TBM neighbor lady who lived behind my family, on the other side of a cinder block wall that divided our yards, used to poison and hack off some vines that would grow up and over the wall. She'd spitefully throw the plants back into our yard after cutting them down. And then her husband would show up with another dude to do home teaching to my dad (a Jackmo). Ahhhhh, how neighborly!

I haven't interacted with Merv in probably 20 years. He coached my softball team when I was in Bonnet Ball. I never did fit in entirely with his daughter and her friends, though. Since I was non-Mormon I wasn't good enough, unfortunately.

I wonder if Elder Arnold is Merv Arnold. I grew up with his daughter, who is my age. Merv is a nice enough guy, although he did try to pressure my brother into joining the LDS Church because "your friend so-and-so would really like for you to be a member!"

A dear friend of mine, a nevermo, is crushing pretty hard on his neighbor, a divorcee with two young children. However, she has made it clear that she wants to be with an LDS man. When I found out that my friend's neighbor was using religion as the basis of refusing his affections -- and that he was considering learning more about Mormonism because of it -- I was pretty upset. One evening

Sometimes I really struggle to find meaning and joy in the day-to-day grind of life. Even beyond that I continually long for a feeling of inner peace and well-being. I feel like I'm constantly battling myself in so many ways. To combat negative thoughts I try to be grateful for what I have and recognize the good things. Often times, along with this feeling of thankfulness and gratitude (tha
