Jordan, this is an interesting thought. And as Aloysius points out, adding new material to old, out-of-copyright materials, presto! You can then copyright that new 'interpretation.' This gives a new insight onto the re-writes of the BoM--will they be re-issuing the BoM with the new changes, and be able to copyright it, and thus add a revenue stream? Jordan, if you are coming out with a new

I think its all about money--how much they can keep. Let's save money on janitors, and paying for activities, let's shorten the hours (less heating/cooling/lights), lets tell them they can't use the kitchen (I was told that as the YW leader), let's shut down low-attendance wards and sell them off. It just seems like someone at the top said: we're not getting any younger, lets keep every pen

I've been reading "The Onion" (a news parody site) since they first started in 1988. One thing I like, besides their irreverent humor and willingness to have bad taste, is, they have used the same 3 actors' pictures since they started. Those pictures are used to illustrate any "man on the street' interview, and they are bylined with different professions every time. The same pos

Jordan is correct, you don't want to go in floodwaters, not just for possible undercurrents but many other hazards. Oil, brake fluid, gasoline, anything that died (farm animals and farm runoff) as well as what is being carried down in the current such as cars or refrigerators that can pin you and kill you. Polluted and hidden obstacles. Also, in my area, it is unbelievable the number of snakes!

I saw that stuff when a man was trying to impress a young lady in the audience, showing off how many sentences he could put together! Sometimes he would also strut as he stood up or walked up there: chest being stuck out, shoulders straightening, fussing and preening to make sure EVERYBODY noticed how FINE his build was! At least it was fun to watch!

Good points, Gordon. Your daughter dodged more than a bullet. A howitzer maybe? RPG? Good for you, and her! I’m sure grad school will be rewarding for her. :)
