Same thing happened to my son a few years ago. Every meal was 90-100% carbs and he is also an athlete. I snuck a huge burger, fries, and Coke to him from a hole in the wall restaurant about 5 miles down the road from camp. Also brought several bags of beef jerky for he and his friends.
