1. Help
I don't know what to do. I used to be quite a bit more active here a few years ago, but then I moved forward but always had a sense of community here. I stalk the forums every now and again but I haven't been posting so much. I went to Madagascar on my mission and left my post maybe 3 or 4 years ago? Not quite sure, just happy to be out. Honestly, I am in desperate need of help and wanted advi

I wish mormons I knew listeed to logic. They usually don't. I think that scripture is straightforward enough though. To say that is wrong is to say that god wanted us to follow false prophets.

So I found this gem when I was just perusing protruth anti mormon videos: The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? (Jer 17:9) this directly counters moroni's promise at the end of the book of mormon. it's a great scripture to throw at those mormons when they ask you to pray about something and tell you that your heart will tell you if it is correct.

My argument for why Mormonism isn't a cult. Because it isn't and I don't think it is and my opinion is worth more because I said so and I'm Mormon so I'm better than you and I'm Mormon so my opinion is better. We aren't for profit we just pay 10% to the prophet. Just because they sound the same doesnt mean the prophet profits. I'm Mormon so I'm right.

Now that I'm not Mormon I try to find more negative info than on a company before I invest in the company or its product. I'm so happy I am out. Emotions aren't logical

Haves and have nots. The have nots serve the haves. For example, in my ex ward, it consisted of rich country dwellers who made millions of the backs of other fellow LDS members. My uncle is one of them. In the ward he employed several members. For Mutual activities, we would actually have service projects at my uncle's property. Same with the bishop and anyone else who owned a lot of stuff and di

That makes sense. I won't disagree with you there. I disagreed with people all throughout my life and had been friends with them (I actually have more friends who disagree with political beliefs and I find it fun to explore ideas, even if they despise mine) I see a lot of hatred towards people though. Sometimes the line between person and belief is blurred by the person attacking the belief

Yep, I did. I don't post enough for anyone to remember it though so I don't care. If people hate me for my beliefs, they are no better than from whence they came. There may as well be an exmo cult with how judgmental it gets

And cold and heat is relative. It only tells you how fast particles are moving and how much energy there is. Heat and lack thereof really doesn't exist, it's just energy.

Peronally I don't care to read missionary blogs, but I would love to read sister throatslitter's blog. I have been telling co-workers how crazy mormonism is, and that really took the cake. That and the Oaks letter.

Not uninhabitable, just uninhabitable by how we understand life to exist. It is possible that other species live there... oh wait that makes sense...

You need someone to listen to you. You should call the suicide hotline or you can email me @ adam.nash (at) live.com if you want. I have been in your shoes. I have felt terrible because people don't care about me. All I wanted was someone who cared. That's what you need now

I'm not sure, but each time I went after that I fell asleep and thought it was creepy. When I was out on my mission I thought back to it and thought how much I made myself like it. When I was on my mission I felt better than leading up or being in the MTC because I wasn't in the temple. I never thought of going back once I didn't have it
