Thanks to those of you who responded thoughtfully. The diagnosis is from non-mormon therapists and is consistent with Itzpapalotl's definition. I stopped attending LDS Church almost two years ago. It is all on you. You had better have liability insurance. A friend took missionaries out on "splits." There was a fender bender and my friend's insurance had to pay medical appointments for the elders. When you get a calling in the Church where you have to give rides, you had better have sufficient insurance. This is spelled out in manuals they give you when you are called.

You are the new pioneer. You have been lied to. It hurts. The Church always makes such a bid deal about truth. If you want to save your marriage, you need to show husband you are sincere. There is a very long list of symptoms for hypothyroid. I have been taking meds for about 10 years. Watch out for plantar fascitis and frozen shoulder. If you want to be healthy you have to keep moving or you will always feel very cold. Take care.
