Black is my favorite, I even like most gas station coffee. Anything fresh is good. Just keep putting less and less sweetener in it until you don't need any.

I agree that some people are leaving, but not as many as we would like to think. Here in Southeastern Idaho, all the parking lots of Mormon Churches are full each Sunday, and shopping on Sunday is still the best day of the week to shop.

I fly into Salt Lake quite frequently. I flew in this weekend, and like all other Salt Lake flights, it was full of men wearing tee shirts with garments showing underneath. Men also wearing shorts with garments hanging out around the knee, thought they are constantly pulling at their shorts to hide the magic underwear. The most common thing to see and hear on Salt Lake bound flights, crying

I watched a lot of the interviews, and am not sure why Roger is so church-friendly after knowing what he knows. The difference with him though, is he is going public. Even though he likes Mormonism he is speaking out about the church being a fraud. It must have taken a lot of courage to come out the way he did. I don't know why he isn't angry about the deceit and lies, but at least he isn't

I know him and have visited him in prison. I am close friends with Dan Lafferty, and Mark was a Dan's cellie. I haven't seen Mark for over two years, since Dan and he were put in different prisons. I once asked Mark if the church leaders were true believers. In Mark's opinion he said that he believed that they were. He said all the leaders are surrounded by "yes" men, and they were

I have visited Mark in prison and, although it has been a while since my last visit, I can tell you he absolutely hates any publicity. He won't be interviewed or have anything to do with this. Sad, because he made a copy of the lost 116 pages he was about to release before his capture. He had a lot more damage to do to the church.

When my believing wife brought up the "you make covenants to me and promises, and now you are reneging?", it made me stop and see it from my side. My argument was that I "signed" the contract under false pretenses, in other words, I was lied to (about church history etc.). After trying to work through it all, one day she decided that it was too tough to try and make the ma

I am wondering about the lifestyle of living in a retirement community, Arizona/Florida. It seems ideal in some ways, swimming pool, activity center, work out room, golf, bike, and lots of activities planned everyday. I know they all vary in services they provide, but it seems nice to have plenty of people around with similar interests, if you want to play cards you can, if you want to go on

We had advice from our temple officiator before he sealed us in the temple. One thing he said was to always kneel at your bedside together and say your prayers together, and then say an individual prayer in silence. So here we are, newlyweds, kneeling across the bed from each other, wearing temple garments, closing our eyes, arms folded in Mormon prayer style, speaking to an invisible man. T

I know him. Yes he was a stake president in Idaho Falls and went on to be an MP in the Philippines. His local reputation has been spotless, until now. Those that know him are in disbelief that someone they respect so well did something like this. At least, so far, no one is sticking up for him. I think he is going to be paying out a lot of money.

So I am sure that some community in Utah must be in the top ten healthiest places in America. I mean with the no coffee, tea, or drinking these people are head and shoulders above the rest of the country. The Word of Wisdom must be true. Actually, no community in Utah made the top 10. something must be wrong with the study: http://www.msn.com/en-us/health/wellness/the-10-healthiest-comm

My wife and I love Uber. We also quit renting cars when we go to big cities, we don't have to deal with traffic or parking. My wife feels safe when using Uber or Lyft, even when she is alone. It is so easy and convenient.

Yes for me totally. I was intrigued by the "recovery" title, wondering why anyone would need to recover from Mormonism. As I read many posts, and then many stories of why people left, I started to check out what exmo's were claiming. It was 1999 and it was the DNA issue with the Book of Mormon. Once I read the evidence, and realized that Native Americans were not descendants of Le

After I quit paying tithing several years ago, I consciously took the same 10% and put it in an auto-withdrawal account for retirement. That account has grown to over 6 figures. I testify that the blessings of tithing are true.

They have a very active downtown, lots of little breweries, coffee shops, and cool restaurants. Stay out of Meridian and you won't even think of Mormonism while in Boise.

Yes, my mom had some relief society amber colored grapes on our table for many years. It must have been a Mormon world-wide project since so many families had them.

My tbm wife has been pretty good about letting the Mormon wall hangings go. We have no more pictures of temples, prophets, or Jesus, as I have taken them down over the years. We never had the "Proclamation to the World" piece hanging up. I changed the last couple of sayings that were still hanging on. Now, our sign says, "As for me and my house, we will serve coffee". S

Since you are not adopted the blessing can still be accurate. Either you will rejoin the church and become a super believing Mormon, or you will be baptized after you are dead and accept Mormonism in the next life. Mormon's never lose, and blessings will always hold up if you think like a zealot.

I'm pretty sure that your ex-wife would have to be the one to file a complaint. An ex-husband, or third party, probably won't be listened to.

You said that you have a job that gives you purpose and a sense of helping others. That is a key to continue working. When you dread going to work because of stress or you just hate your job, it's time to find a way to retire, working will kill you off early. If you have lots of hobbies and a lot of activities to keep you busy, you will retire well. I have a friend that sits and watches tv

It's time to take control of your life instead of letting outside stuff control you. Say no, don't give a reason if you don't want to, and only do things that you really need to. You can control this.
