Why don't you simply pack your bags, leave and not tell anyone where you're headed off to? Get a new phone and delete old email accounts. You can always hire a divorce attorney to send him divorce papers without giving away where you are (guaranteed under the attorney-client privilege). EDIT: I just came across this on RFM. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/2016/11/25/delete-internet-websi

It takes a man to do what you did and I commend you for that. Right now, you're continually gaining acceptance from a church that has treated you and your family any less than what the Lord would. My advice is for you to be more spiritual and less religious (there is a big difference between the two and if you need further clarification, just ask). You need a personal relationship with Jesus, not

so...i went to game night at my institute teacher's house. one on the ysa was talking about how a female called him asking or a priesthood blessing because she was freaking out because i believe she had breathing issues. he told her she should have called 911 before him. he then said how he was glad she trusted the priesthood, but then said the unthinkable...he said something along the lines of h

"Health in the navel, marrow in the bones, strength in the loins and in the sinews, power in the Priesthood be upon me, and upon my posterity through all generations of time, and throughout all eternity." I don't understand this. Can someone please explain this to me?

michaelm (not logged in), you are on point and fair. Mormons are my favorite people in the world, but they are just like everyone else with flaws and fake facades. But, not all of them are like that.

Tonight's Institute Lesson: False Prophets. Covered what happened to Sherem, Nehor, and Korihor (my group). All I could think of that night was: I sure hope they remembered the fact I brought up...JS gave 53 prophecies and 51 have failed to come to pass. EDIT: The Institute instructor said one thing I found funny...of all the churches, the Mormon church had the highest retention rate of act

This whole missionary thing sounds like a bad business deal. I feel ever more sad for the hardworking missionaries living on a budget and working themselves to the bone like this. I'm so glad I will be a nice memory to them since I always bought them hot chocolate from Starbucks and apples w/caramel dip :( I hope they leave the church, too. The missionary I am fond of, his dad got ex-communicated

Well, JS decided to form a false religion to glorify himself and in doing so, defrauded the world The people aren't to blame for this mess. Thank goodness for some of the people from the inside leaking information on TSCC church and the church authorities who do see through it need to have the character and integrity to do the same

Because you no longer have priesthood authority for leaving the church, by Mormon beliefs, you cannot take your wife to the highest level of the Celestial Kingdom. Her bishop, family, and people at church are probably talking to her about leaving you for someone who can take her to the Celestial Kingdom. You are not the only person going through this and you will not be the last. Politely c
