I have just received the inspiration to douse members who encourage me to to come back with "You too WILL leave the Mormoney Church. I have been given the inspiration to tell you this."

Mormons want the easy and less-time consuming way because they have their time and thoughts so tied up in the MormonInc. busy, busy world. Taking time to read books, even those on their okayed list, is not chosen by many active mormons. So when one of their beloved general authorities comes up with advice easily put to memory they grab onto it like candy, And, their thinking has been done for

I believe the MormonInc.'s days started on the downslide the day the internet was put into more and more hands. Sure, it will take countries and cultures who do not have the resources to finally get their hands on the internet like the U S of A, England, and a lot of European Countries, but I believe the tide will swing in that direction more and more. Information will bring the knowledge of w

Along with PapaKen's comments that I agree with 5,00%, is my own outrage that the WILLFUL LIES continue to roll out of the mouths of the 12 + 3 con-men who have chosen to continue the disgusting ruse started by Sleezy Ole Joe so that they can sit on their own velvet-lined pedestals. From their perches they can look down on the masses, call the shots, and eat, drink and live on easy-street. They

Sister missionaries left their mormon BUSINESS card on my doorstep when I was out about two months ago. There was a phone number where they could be reached. Very curious as to how they got my address as I have officially resigned. I could not decide if I wanted to call them and have a "friendly" discussion about my views of young people being brainwashed starting when they are s

I think I would have ran away from home if I had been required to sit through GC's. I remember attending a stake conf with a friend who had to attend. After approx. 30 minutes, I told her I would meet her later that day providing her parents let her out of the house on sunday.

You are very brave and already at 17 have shown a huge amount of courage. I hope that you will give yourself a big hug for this and know that your are so o o worth it. I know others have said this to you, but it cannot be said too often. I also have suffered from PTSD, and I do think your symptoms are similar. Sexual abuse is so invasive, and I found counseling very, very helpful. You are

In my opinion the Mormoney Church realized they had hit on a winning strategy when they came up with the slogan, "Every member a missionary." The word "every" makes you feel included and special, that you are important enough to be "an example", a "show-case for the Church," and that you must live your life accordingly. Notice the cult does not have a

Great laughs from this thread: 1. "They say they are not using women to recruit members but it sounds to me like the Sirens from the Odyssey who lured sailors to their doom..." 2. "fashion defective gene" 3. "sister hookers for Jesus" The Mormoney site is a trip. It admonishes the sister mishies: "You should present a dignified, clean, well-groo

My bet is that they pray for the game because they pray over e v e r y t h i n g and they pray c o n t i n u a l l y. OMG, did your sister dye her hair purple AGAIN? Well, we must pray that she stops this heathen practice because it comes straight from Satan Him/Her-Self! Did the dog dig up the garden again? Well, let's add t h a t to our morning prayer list. And on and on and on a

His column is one of the best parts of Utah Mormoney country. If you lurk hear Robert, I adore your articles and how you tell it from the heart, with candor and humor. You are a great observer of people, and your human interest stories help us laugh at ourselves---that is, in most cases.

I fell for lots of other mormoney lines, but I never uttered that one and cringed when others did. To me, it felt like a put-down from the uppity-ups to the downity-downs (me), and I just wanted to kick the person where it hurts when they said it.

When I had stopped attending church and some of my kids (darn) were still attending, they were sometimes drilled concerning their evil, inactive parents. I also had a friend tell me that somehow the church knew that my sister-in-law had left the Mormon Inc. and joined a different church (one of my children most likely gave out that info). However, when I was told later by this same friend that

I also send wishes that the procedure goes well for you. I admire your courage in admitting that you are anxious and frightened, and, in my book, that makes you ahead of the game. Snuggle in those warm cozy blankets and let your mind think pleasant and beautiful thoughts.

Stress does not do an adequate job of describing what it feels like to attempt to pull clothes on screaming chillin, remember to potty and diaper them for the last time before heading out the door to church, shove enuf food in their little mouths to keep them quiet (boy, was I dumb, as I never thought of drugging 'em up to make them drowsy), and then grabbing enuf books, toys and cheerios to MAY

Braggart Brigham: Just curious how much you miss all of your treasures on earth...."your" kingdom of Deseret, "your" position as Governor of Utah and your hired gunmen who did your dirty deeds? Just a little different in hell, isn't it? Scumbag Joe: What? I see that you've received no handy revelations to move you to a new home. Your god must be taking a very long

I am laughing loudly at several ideas that you posters came up with. First of all, mishes sleeping at church makes me go on to invision rows of tidy little bunk beds lined up under the basketball hoop with the smell of yummy bacon rising from the kitchen. Oh wait. There is no cookin allowed in them thare kitchens. Just forget the yummy bacon smell. Next, tiny, noisy little ones runni

Of course, in order to hire more employees for the Member Records Dept., the cult would have to admit they have an increase of resignations. Naw, they won't do that.

For me, it was the members and the church going behind my late husband and my back supposedly to rescue our teenager who was in trouble. So, with the bishop's blessing, we were not notified of the crisis and MormonInc.'s actions, all because we were inactive- temple-married-parents who in their eyes should not be allowed to exist (in my humble opinion) and certainly not be allowed to raise our O

Oh ye of little faith that needeth a sign (or a stone box). What commandments have you been breaking that make you think that such wants are necessary? Ponder, pray, and ponder some more. Make sure that your house is in order, and then, maybe then, your desires will be answered.

ELDER ABUSE big time!!! MormonInc. is so disgusting and has no limits on how low they stoop. Makes me think of another way they bring in the money big time with their "charity" scam of Deseret Industries. People donate everything and then MormonInc. sells the items for more money than other similar establishments.

I so agree, and Say, Jeffrey Holland, remember that it is never too late to take the road that was never taken. You have shown much ability in the arena of public speaking---if only you would choose to speak, as has been suggested, the T R U T H, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you God. So hope that you will give this a try.

Thanks for the laughs all of you posters. Brethren, adieu, your comments created the vision of a temple full of members in their clown costumes, all with "white" and "blessed" toilet brushes raised in unison to the square. And, then in unison, they lower them to the words, "That will do," followed by, "Never forget, cleanliness is next to Godliness. Now ke

I sent a letter to my children, not overly long, that explained why I felt that MormonInc. was not a fit for me and why I did not believe it. For me it was necessary, and I would still do it the same way. I have a bunch of kiddo's and the reactions were all varied. Mostly there was silence. I was disappointed because all I was aiming for was for my children to better understand me. I did no

Rebecca Musser is an amazing woman who defied the FLDS Church for herself, sister, and many others. She is bright and courageous and paints a vivid picture with her words describing what it was like to fight for her freedom from this cult. I hope that some TBM will be moved by her story and see the similarities between Warren Jeffs and Joe Smith and the MormonInc. and the FLDS.

When I found the light and was loving the pure joy of being free from MormonInc., I tried desperately to share my new knowledge and frame of mind with friends and family that were still TBM. Well, needless to say, it did not go over at all like I pictured in my mind----I thought they would see the light sooner than later. Definitely not how it happened. I think those of us who have been down t
